Building Care Together Campaign Receives Pledge of $125,000 from CIBC

VICTORIA — The Victoria Hospitals Foundation’s Building Care Together campaign received another significant boost today when CIBC announced a $125,000 pledge to support oncology care at the new Patient Care Centre at Royal Jubilee Hospital. John Guthrie, Associate Vice President of Retail Distribution, Southern Vancouver Island, CIBC, presented the pledge of $125,000 over five years to campaign Co-chair, Leslee Farrell, at a news conference in the new hospital’s Atrium.

Building Care Together Campaign Receives Pledge of $350,000 from RBC Foundation

VICTORIA — As a commitment to providing leading-edge health care to Victoria’s elder citizens, RBC Foundation today announced a $350,000 multi-year pledge to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation’s Building Care Together campaign. $50,000 has already been dedicated to training hospital staff to work with the new technologies in place in the 500-bed hospital, and the remaining $300,000 will be directed towards Geriatric Mental Health services.

Building Care Together Campaign Receives Pledge of $175,000 from BMO Financial Group

VICTORIA — BMO Financial Group today pledged $175,000 to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation’s Building Care Together campaign to help purchase state-of-the-art equipment and technology for Victoria's new hospital. The announcement was made this afternoon in the light-filled Atrium of the new Patient Care Centre at Royal Jubilee Hospital.

Victoria Hospitals Foundation Partners with London Drugs to raise funds

VICTORIA — With a mission to raise funds for leading-edge equipment for the new Patient Care Centre at Royal Jubilee Hospital, London Drugs and the Victoria Hospitals Foundation have partnered to support the Foundation’s Building Care Together campaign. Starting November 1st, shoppers will be able to donate $2 at the till at any of the nine Vancouver Island London Drugs locations until the end of December.

Victoria Hospitals Foundation launches art booklet, partners with Winchester Galleries

VICTORIA, B.C. — A book entitled – Fuse - featuring visual art, photography and creative writing by people living with mental illness is now available for public purchase, the Victoria Hospitals Foundation announced today. Compiled by the Foundation, and local writer/professor Melanie Siebert in support of the Courtnall Celebrity Classic, Fuse showcases local writers and artists as a way raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental illness.
